Outreach scheme
We provide financial support to booksellers to help with the costs of hosting a book stall at a public event in Wales. This could be your local school fair, hosting a book launch, a Christmas market or summer festival, or a national event such as the Royal Welsh Show or National Eisteddfod. The scheme also supports booksellers to hold events in the shop, outside of usual opening hours.
In addition to the grant, our sales team can also offer advice on titles to stock at the event, which are offered on a sale or return basis, when arranged in advance with the Distribution Centre.
How do I apply?
Bookshops which operate from a shop location and are open at least three days a week are eligible for the scheme. You must apply for the grant before the event. If you would like to discuss your event, contact sales@books.wales
