The judging panel said: “The whole panel agreed that this story breaks new ground among Welsh-language books. Its form and design are creative, and it tackles a variety of themes in a compelling way. The story weaves together the old and the new and is told through illustrations, allowing us to experience a wide range of emotions throughout – all with so few words on the pages!
